I just done with the fitting for Next Next, and turn up it kinda good, cos only very small alteration needed.

I'm so lucky that i did Tee shirt for my collection.

I just created a new heels using pony hair netting, and i kinda love the look of it.

It look like smoke on the heel.

i just received and email, regarding my coming show.

It stated that i need to bring more heels for the models to try on during the fitting, and that mean i can do more shopping for heels.

It kinda of wrong for a guy, especially like me, a very big size guy, to went in to a shoes shop to look at heel, and tell them i want size 39 or 40. but who care, i love shopping for heels.

It my new hobby.

I love the heel that i got and stay up till 1am just to do one side, and 7am just to do the other.

I must be crazy!!!

Recently, i fall in love in dolling up shoes.

As you know, i'm taking part in the coming show for Parco Next Next, and i need to create 3 outfits.

and to my surprise, shoes is not provided. therefore i need to source my own heel.

Being a fussy designer, i couldn't find something to my liking, therefore, i'm make up my mind of creating my own heel.

I dun know how to do heel, so what i do is, i went to buy simple heel and dress it up. and i kinda love this black lace heel. tot of doing it in white also. just that my last outfit is long skirt, so dun see much of the heel.

So now i'm sourcing for my third heel.

Now i know why gal alway said it different to get a heel that they really like, cos it toooooooo many if it, and tooooooo many nice one, and best of all, it not expensive.....

BTW, there a gal in the show, that doing heel, and she really do very nice heel,and now, i start to worry that she will hate me.

I just counted, each model would wear about 5-6 items for the show, guess i really do toooo much liao. i must said, it really from head to toe.

Cos at the end of the day, we are selling photo, we have to let our client buy the photo and come to ours' shop.

Finally i settled with all my things for the photo shoot tml.

we went recce some places today, Klee bar, ally bar, Que Pasa@ Emerald Hill and church near our shop.

And finally we manage to get approve with almost all the places within hour.

BUT we plan to do it in our shop once again.
this is the forth times we are shooting at ours' shop.
Guess it will be fun..
as its more close to home..

We are doing 2 half days shoot, and we have design a total of 6 gowns but our target is 7. guess we dun have time for the last one.

out of the 6 outfits, i design 4 of them and i love all my small gowns tat i came out with..
the BIG gowns are abit ...... [hmmmmm]

Reb is still rushing for her gown,
wish i can help her..
but to bad we always come with difference views.
therefore i try not to help and talk to her too much.

She is good..
she is very good..
Just tat she have her own way of how thing should be done.

Many ppl know tat i just got my first car car at 11Th DEC 08.which is a second hand, pass over from Shaun
and now it 3mths old liao.

and now.. i planning to sell her off cos i getting another car car...

it's not tat I'm rich now..
it just tat my boss wanna get me a car car.
i went to chose the colour and car tat i wan on Monday..
Therefore i dun think there a point for me to keep 2cars now.
so i planning to sell it off.

I need to create new collection, new direction of the design in my shop and also find a feel and look tat matches the collection.
And Best of all... must be able to bring ppl to come to the shop.

Yes, it time for me to do photo shoot for the shop liao...

This time round, we doing 3gowns, two are design by me and one is done by Reb.

We wanna create a classic and romantic feel..
and i think i really run out of idea.

We just done up the first gown,and it kinda not the feel tat i wan.. something wrong somewhere, which i know where, but dun know how to solve it..
tell me what u feel?

I add some bead work on the bust of the gown to give it a bit more textile.

Anyway i looking forward for my next gown tat going to be done up on wed.

I like tis song maybe because of the song writer 楊明學（1980年－2004年1月6日），是台灣已故作詞人。原本在加拿大唸書的他，2002年因罹患罕見的泡狀軟組織腫瘤〔或稱肌肉軟組織腫瘤)返台就醫，一直到2004年1月因癌細胞侵犯到肺而過世前留下了不少歌詞創作。除了作詞外，他也曾在《明日報》網站上以「卡夫卡」名義發表許多創作。

Recently, i abit stress up with my work..

Because one of my client didn't wear my wedding gown on her wedding day, and she got an other designer to do her gown, and same design idea as my.
I didn't know this, until my Make up artist told me.

Damn, i redo tat gown for 3times, burn 2weekend to do the detailing and end of the day, she didn't wear, just because the feeling is not rite.

It not justified to me

At the same time, I think my design is always the same over and over again.
think I'm abit stagnant now..
it like there a lot of room for improvement, but i dun know where to find the space.

I never bored of appointment, never worry on design, never worry on fitting and collection.

but now, i feel that i lack of idea, knowledge and alot of thing. and it seem nothing is right for me in the office.

wat happen to meet?

Caroline said i maybe in the same place for too long. and I'm so use to the working style, the idea, etc.
we are just too comfort for what we have.
no room for improvement.

I love my job, love the environment, love the pay and love all the ppl working there,
I just need to find way to improve.
I love myself, but i love my job more..

1. my ex client came to my shop, to thank me for the wonderful thing i did for her and trying to sell me insurance.

2. my ex client came to my shop to say hi, show me her baby photo and intro client to me.(which i dun mind)

3. one of my many nite buddy,you know wat that mean,sit beside me in a cafe feeling so ....

4. Bump into my very first many nite buddy,he let me cut his Q and try to talk to me, and i act blur.

5. Bump to another many nite buddy in a bus and sit rite beside me. and we both act sleeping.

6. Bump into my poly use-to-be good friend at cityhall and asked to buy insurance

7. Bump into my BMT mate at BK, saying i gain some weight, i think he mean i gain alot of weight.

7 person i met today, and u know wat, 5 out of 7 is person i dun feel like meeting any more...

it being a long time i didn't post anything...
the last post is on new year...
now i doing my post on Chinese new year

I was busy for the pass few weeks to clear all my clients having the wedding before CNY..

now I'm off for 5 days..
and have my appointment full for the next 2weeks..

think i really dun know how to do time management...

BB,tat is dating a cute young kid, but it didn't work out cos the kid asking too much on material stuff..

and

DD, he with his dear for close to a year, and DD is having problem with his dear because of appearance..

I dun understand why material and look is so important??
i alway think tat the formule for love is

20% Appearance + 80% Meeting of the mind = 99% LOVE

and love can be taught.

I know tat appearance is part of the formula, and meeting of the mind is next...

but when do the formula become

I was BOLT twice this week...

I kinda love the story alot..

I watch the normal version and the 3D version..

Gosh, the 3D is give me headache..

the tickets cost more and they gave me a glasses and i dun see the diff for the 3D and normal version of it. and it kinda make me feel uncomfortable

But at the end of the day, the story is good..
and i love the TV-obsessed hamster in a plastic ball,Rhino.

I was sad and feeling angry yday over the issues of 3K

Early in the morning, my client call me saying tat she cancel her wedding...

So i asked her why she cancel, she said tat she check her hubby-to-be bank account and she find out he only got 3k in the bank.

The gal is just abit smaller of my size and she think she is a queen ah, make the guy dry for the wedding and now no money so cancel the wedding..

Wat a Bxtxh.....

On the other hand, i feel sad for that guy la...
Sorry bebe, i will keep a look out for you..

As for the angry thingy,
i tot of getting a 2nd hand car from my friend.
the price offer is $37k
then he said can take a $38 loan, in case he need to pay the bank
so i ok..
then he said the bank outstanding loan is $40k+
so ask if i can do a $39k loan, so i said ok la, dun make him make a lose.

but late in the nite, he wan me to apply a $42k loan..

It have been weeks that i didn't post anything new on my blog, cos I'm very busy with my coming show next week...

This is one of the best gown that i did for the show so far..

The show will be a outdoor event at Raffles Hotel, therefore, NO MORE puffy, princessssssssssssssssss wedding gown..

It will be small and simple gown, with lot and lot of textile with drama mama hair piece and long veil..

Also, there will be flowy and colourful for the evening..
It is very different from what we are doing now..

Hope it will be a great show..
But heard the the turn out is not that good, owing to the high pricing of tickets.

I was scolded by a client-to-be for 2hours and 30min yday..

Reasons:

1)I asked them to top up additional 1k for beading..

2)They said I'm wasting their time for 4mth..

3)I didn't state clearly on the pricing..

and

4)they want me to accept the price that i offer them base on the design that they wan, and max top up is S$100

....................................................................................

1) I met up with them during March, and we start to do design of the wedding gown cos I know they are very difficult pple, so it normal for me to do design of the wedding gown, and collect the money.

During the design, they idea of the gown is still the same. just that the detail change from Crystal with glass bead to abit more crystal to full Crystal.

Therefore i told her they need to top additional of 1k for the gown to be fully Crystal,
then the gal said i promise not to top up for additional beading or Crystal, i said that before, but i abit more, it not fully Crystal.

also, the cost of my Crystal increase the of cos i you need to pay more for that.
Anyway, you didn't pay us the deposit, so i better tell you the cost before you decided to go with us.

The hubby, Lect of SMU, School of Business, said that my email of the pricing didn't state that the price will be affect due to inflation and subject to increase.
also we have waste 4mths of their time.
for a company name, etc, i have to accept the offer of what i agreed and they only top up additional $100 and tat all.
also, your company is abit wedding, so it all about commitments, so we have to commit to what we promise..

if not when he step out of the shop, he will call the reporter and sent us a lawyer letter and the fee will be much more then the gown.

therefor, we will pay the deposit now, and we take ur offer, without top up the 1K.

ME: WOW la, i dun sell policy lol.. i sell gown lol.. how i know the market suddenly have inflation wat... also all my client know my style, i dun call them for appointment, normally is they call me for appointment. so who wasting who time??

then the thing go XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxx
I almost quit my job in front of them.

Then Minda come into the picture, and the thing go XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

then the story end that Minda take over the client, said she going to show them some sample of the beading, and they ok with the work, then they book..
But the hubby said they must be ok with the work and price..
and then the thing go xxXXXXXXxxxXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxxxxxxx again

There really no end to this kind of cheapo client.

At the end, the client said if they book with Silhouette, they want me to be the main designer of the gown, not Minda..
WAT!!!!!!!

if I'm doing that, the evening gown will be super simple lol.. no single beading at all.. and the wedding gown i Will make her look super super fat lol
at least 2" bigger..
I will do in build corset with think satin, Duchess satin 2 layer with full inter-facing, and proper lining.
The evening gown will be super low back with bras cut and loose fit..

i only slept 2hours today.
cos I'm doing my photo shot today..

I was rushing my gown for 12hours str.
Tired
Tired..

Actually we are doing 3gowns for the shot..
Just that we really dun like one of the gown tat we design..
Maybe it how we see and market ourselves..

Therefore, at the end of the day, we only leave with 2gowns.
It a short and sweet session.
and best it, it without Minda, so not that fuzzy about the pose and the feel..

I use a super lousy cam and didn't on the Flash..

I was so angry on Saturday with my Client, Annie..

I was having client for design in the morning. and Annie came into the shop and shouting at me, saying that how come i alter her wedding gown till so loose.

And i said dun have, i didn't alter the dress at all lol..
why dun you try now and tell me the problem.

after she try on, we realise she didn't hock the corset in the gown. That why the gown is loose.

And Minda is so angry and scolded her, saying, Did my stuff didn't do their work well? Is Kenji not doing his job? Is Tre not doing her job'?

Annie: they are very good and do their job very well, just that I'm like this, i like to complaint and complaint tat all.

How come i need to suffer thing like this....

Now i have problem to explain this to my other client.

I feel such a loser again...

I got to know this friend of my for 3years plus..

When i know him for the first year, he asked me to lent him money, so out of goodwill, i lent him a few hundreds.

After i lent him the money, he went missing..

Now, he back and asked for $$$ again.
and tell me how sad his life is, and he in debt.

So he ask me to help him again..
Out of goodwill again, i gave him $800 to clear his debt, and he promise to return to me last nite.

Him: My boss dun want to give me my pay, cos he find out i steal his money, How? he going to call police

Me: i help you talk to your boss lol.where you now?

Him: at my shop at lucky plaza. u come now lol.

Him: I ran away liao. but my IC and bag is in the shop, How?

We are very famous for doing rush work..

we always do gowns, one mth before all our fashion show.
and one week before photo shot.

Gosh, we are really lazy..

We just done up 1 of the gown for photo shot, which i dun feel it promising for my adv...(it look like a cake lol.. i dun really like.. so different from our style)

and the best thing is, we haven't manage to find a model that is suitable for our shot.

Lastly, we haven't confirm the the look that we want. cos there are too many style that we are looking at. the soft dreamy look or the drama mama feel..

That why i shot it when my client doing her fitting, which i seldom do that.

i think it simple with a touch of WOW factor..

I'm know myself very well..
I try not to be too bitchy to ppl.

But just tat i was very piss off last nite and i bitch to someone that i dun know.

I was having dinner alone at one of the coffee shop near my house, as my maid didn't cook dinner.

The coffee shop is not pack at all, and this family of 4 came in. and they choose to sit at my table cos my table is near to the fan. while there alot of empty table.

The younger son sit next to me.
the mother, elder brother and the sister standing and see me eating.

Then sister told the brother: why u sit there
Younger brother: this is public places lol.
mother: dun fight, just go order food.

elder brother: what u want.........(bluxxxxx)

i rush off my food, cos i think they are too much lol. not that there no table, just that they want the fan.
and the mother, son or the sister dun bother to ask if anyone sitting beside me.

When i done with my food.
i wait for a while and call bitchy,

Me (on the phone): where are you? I'm finished my dinner liao. are you meeting me at coffee shop? you know what, i need to find another table, cos there a very rude family just take over my table without asking. dun know how the mother educated the children.

I then find another table and sit directly opp at them and watch them eat.. even thought I'm not really meeting anyone.

Gosh,
when they see me, they cannot even eat peacefully.

I'm don't whan to do that.
Just that they think they have a right of way, as it a public places, which they forgotten about other ppl.

Now i wonder,
If i'm going to have a child.
is this how my child going to be?
then i rather dun have kid.

I met up with Auntie Nor last nite for dinner.
She just ended his 2yr relationship last week, and being crying for one whole week.

Her eye is just like goldfish, it just a matter of time it poking out from the face.
Also, she want to end her job, as she fall in love with her salon's hair stylist.

During the dinner, i told her to give up the relationship, cos there no point for her to ask for patch back again.

As it wouldn't be happy for him nor her.

And also dun quit the job, if she want to quit, there no job for her to do out there.

I'm know I'm very str forward,

The new gal that Minda gave me..
i think she super blue...

She is very clever, but slow.

She can come in very early to the office, but sleep in the office.

Anyway,I'm designing a new gown, and my workshop said i use alot of tulle (92yd of it, which can make 2 big puffy gown)..
and lace(10yard which can make 1 full lace gown)..
sigh...

How ah...

Btw, that short dress above is use the left over fabric from the tulle gown tat they doing now..
so can tell how much wastage involve ...

Think i have to tone down my design..
if not cost dun meet my sale..
and i will sure ganna ban by Minda..

My client, Grace, called yday.
I'm seen her since Dec, but haven't book yet.

She told me tat i over charge her for the Silk duchess Satin gown that she want.
I said i dun over charger pple one.

Then she said she went to check and it like 100+per meter and i charge her 7k for the whole package.

Then i told her, Vera Wang also charge u 10K for just the gown, why dun you call her to tell her that she over price the gown?
and the shop downstairs also charge 10K for just one gown.

I didn't over charge u, you paying for what you want, and my 7k if for a wedding gown made for you to keep in silk duchess. evening gown, short dress, suit, make up, flower..

When you want me to do a 10k Vera Wang gown, Tan Yoong cutting, and a silk satin..

My client told me she dun like the beading that i did for her gown.
she said it look like India beading.

I feel so sad and i change the beading for her.

It took me one whole day just to redo this..

Cos i didn't get a pay rise.

Caroline saw the pay cheque on Monday, and the very next thing to tell Minda that she taking off on Tues.

I was scolded by Minda and Caroline str in the face yday afternoon for giving discount to Caroline's client.

I gave Caroline's client discount cos she my client's friend. and my client asked me to help her cos she dun like Caroline and she think the price is too high.

So what i do for her is to throw in flower for the client tat all..

And the client wan photography, so i just give her a good package price which Arvinna offer to me...

And i told the client tat, i will throw in the flowers and car deco, photo with Chris Ling, of 20pages in small album, CD ROM. on top of that, i will give her up free up size ,one big frame and 8 more pages.

Therefore the clients asked me to attend to her.

So i told Caroline, then they scolded me cos i undercut her price.. Then Minda also said tat..

Time really fly...

This year, i think our show suck..
cos not all the gowns are ready yet..

we still got more then 10Gowns to go..

and my fittin is next week.

Beside gown, i also havent done my own suit...

But still thinking, cos it very expensive doing it....
sigh..

At the same time, Ter asked me to meet him and Mike for dinner soon...

so long didnt talk to him liao..
now meet up, i also got nothing to talk...

It like my auntie in workshop, they dun talk for 3mths, owning to some reason..
then now Minda asked them to talk..

How to??

Somemore me and him is like 3yr didnt talk liao..

after such along weekend.. and now have to start work..

I'm actually quite happy with myself as i design 2 gowns out of then 4 for the adv.
(the Lovely adv gown, and this Pink gown)

I think i'm really really very free...

I watch 3 Jack Neo Movie Str this week...
1)I Not Stupid Too <<小孩不笨2>>

2)Just Follow Law <<我在政府部门的日子>>

3)Ah Long Pte Ltd <<老师嫁老大>>

I really like all tis movie.
I cry for <<小孩不笨2>>, i see myself in <<我在政府部门的日子>>, and laught through <<老师嫁老大>>

If you know what i mean..

I cry when Jack Neo beat his son for stealing the money,in <<小孩不笨2>>.
This is my 5th times watching this movie, but i still cry at the same part.
I think we all are too busy with our work, and we miss out alot of important pple and things around us.

While watching <<我在政府部门的日子>>,I feel that i should change my job
my pay is so little and not much saving..
wat if one day i need $$$ how??
And worst, i dun spent much and dun know where my $$$ went to..
think my pay is really too little..
and <<我在政府部门的日子>> said, "Government said market is doing well, but how come our pay is still so little"
Isn't this is what we all are thinking??

Also, i learn something, we only see ourself when we are in other pple shoes.

I think it a sad ending for this movie, cos it got no ending, so we need to think

As for <<老师嫁老大>>, it just pure laughter...

Beside Jack Neo moive, i also watch 3-4 Stephen Chow moives in this week..
sigh...
